This three-day tour from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem highlights Jordan’s most iconic sites, beginning with a 4×4 Jeep safari through the dramatic desert landscapes of Wadi Rum and an overnight stay at a Bedouin camp.
The journey continues to Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, for a full day of guided and independent exploration of its ancient monuments.
On the final day, visit Madaba and Mount Nebo for cultural insight and panoramic views, then continue to the Allenby Bridge for the border crossing.
The tour begins in the breathtaking desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. You will explore this vast and dramatic valley on a 4×4 Jeep safari, offering an unforgettable experience of its moon-like terrain, red sand dunes, towering weather-sculpted cliffs, and unique desert wildlife.
Afterward, you will drive to a desert camp near Petra, where warm Bedouin hospitality awaits. Enjoy a traditional Arab-style dinner and settle into a comfortable bed for the night. Before turning in, relax beneath the crystal-clear desert skies, stargaze with a cup of authentic Bedouin tea, and take in the atmosphere of a glowing bonfire accompanied by live Bedouin music.
This day is devoted entirely to Petra, the world-renowned archaeological site set amid a dramatic red sandstone landscape. One of the New Seven Wonders of the World and the highlight of the journey,
Petra was once a major crossroads of the ancient Near East, where the Nabataean civilization prospered through trade. You will spend the morning exploring Petra with your guide, followed by lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will have free time to independently discover additional landmarks, such as the Monastery, before returning to the Bedouin camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the camp, check out and begin the drive toward Madaba. Upon arrival in Madaba, one of Jordan’s most ancient and culturally rich cities, enjoy time to explore its highlights and atmosphere. From there, continue driving to Mount Nebo and ascend to the scenic viewpoint, where you can take in panoramic views of the Jordan Valley and learn about the site’s historical and religious significance.
After the visit to Mount Nebo, stop for lunch at a local restaurant to experience traditional Jordanian cuisine. In the afternoon, drive toward the border in preparation for the crossing, and finally arrive at the Allenby Bridge to complete the journey.
