Packed with more than a typical Jerusalem tour this tour begins with a complementary pick-up in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Enter the walled Old City, home to the world's most famous religious landmarks. Walk through the narrow lanes and stop at places like the Wailing Wall, Via Dolorosa and the Holy Sepulchre Church. Leaving the Old City, tour the adjacent Mount Zion, site of King David's Tomb and the Upper Room (Room of the Last Supper). Then travel to the new, modern city of Jerusalem starting with an overview of the cityscape from the Haas Promenade. See the Knesset (Parliament building); walk through the Rose Garden; the historic First Station and more. Before the tour ends you'll have time to mix with locals in the vibrant Machane Yehuda Market. Enjoy the aromas, sounds and colors of this bustling market, and maybe even sample some delicious local food.

The tour starts when you are picked up from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and taken to the Old City of Jerusalem. Your guide will lead you along the ancient streets past landmarks that have been here for thousands of years. In the Jewish Quarter see the Wailing Wall, once part of the Jewish Temple, destroyed in 70AD. Walk along the stone-paved Via Dolorosa retracing the steps of Jesus as he carried his cross to Golgotha. Along the way, the Stations of the Cross are marked with small churches. Visit the iconic Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a 4th-century church constructed to encompass the site of the crucifixion and Christ's burial tomb. As we leave the Old City we'll pass through the Muslim Quarter's suk, a typical Middle Eastern market.
Just outside the Old City is Mount Zion, where we'll stop to see the tomb where King David was laid to rest and visit the Upper Room or Cenacle where Jesus dined with his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion. Next the tour takes you to the Haas Promenade which overlooks the city's skyline. This is the perfect place for a shot of Jerusalem's rooftops, steeples and domes.
The tour continues into the newer areas of the city, to modern Jerusalem. Passing Yemin Moshe, the first neighborhood built outside the Old City walls we see the Montefiore Windmill. We stop at the First Station(Tachana), a historic train station that has been restored and repurposed into a modern shopping and dining and complex. We pass Israel's parliament building (Knesset) and visit the Rose Garden. You can walk through the garden which has been recognized internationally for its outstanding beauty. Our last stop is the Machane Yehuda Market. Dating back to the Ottoman era this colorful market sells everything you can imagine. In the last few years, it has become a foodie destination with famous chef restaurants opening up in the market. Enjoy some unique people-watching, do some shopping and soak up the local atmosphere. The tour ends when you are taken to the drop-off point in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
A day tour is a regular tour that we operate on specific weekdays. Tours depart from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Herzliya and Netanya. You have the option to upgrade your tour and ensure for yourself a place in a small group (up to 19 people). The tour duration from pickup time is approximately 10 hours. You will be picked up from your hotel, and after the tour, you will be returned to your hotel.
Almost all of our daily tours are operated primarily in English, in addition to a second language: Or Spanish, or Russian, or German and or French. You can choose the preferred language of the tour when booking. You can view the tour schedule, as well as the second language schedule in order to make your best suited choice.
When booking your tour, you will need to mark which language you’d like the tour to be in. Note that for certain tours in certain languages, the price may be higher.
A regular group travels in a coach that comfortably transports up to 45 people. A small group travels in a minivan that seats 22 people. Other than that, the tours are identical.
Our tours leave from Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Netanya and Herzliya. We pick up our travelers from most of the hotels in these cities. If you are staying at a private residence address, please choose the closest pick up hotel to your apartment or contact our office to be advised where to wait.
Children under 12 and students (with a valid student card) receive a 10% discount.
You can bring your luggage with you and we’ll store it in the trunk of the vehicle during the tour. However, please be aware that we don’t take any responsibility for any damage or loss. Recommended to advise us that you are travelling with luggage.
Yes, but not too much. We definitely recommend bringing some local currency with you to pay for lunch and anything you may wish to; purchase along the way.

It is possible to have pick ups/ drop offs in different cities. However, we do not disperse to specific drop off locations. The expenses to get from the drop off location to your final destination won't be covered by Bein Harim.
