Join us for a tour of Nahalat Binyamin, a Tel Aviv pedestrian street and neighborhood famed for its historic buildings and stunning graffiti art scene. The iconic neighborhood in the heart of Tel Aviv has the charm of tree-lined lanes and paved squares in Europe. Here you can see street performers, an arts and crafts fair (Tuesdays and Fridays) plus quaint sidewalk cafes.
As you walk through Nachalat Binyamin you will see art deco, modernistic and Bauhaus buildings. But the real attraction on this tour is the street art. In Nahalat Binyamin, graffiti artists are encouraged to express themselves. The Nahalat Binyamin street artists are provided with equipment and paint to help them create their artwork.
The murals are often thought-provoking, and prompt passersby to question social norms. Of course, some murals are simply there to put a smile on our faces. On this tour, you’ll learn about the artists and their work. Discover Tel Aviv’s street art culture, and explore graffiti hidden down the narrow lanes of Nahalat Binyamin.
