Un bref aperçu de la tournée

From Haifa port we travel to Jerusalem and take in the view of the city from the Mount of Olives. We drive passed ancient burial tombs in the Kidron Valley and enter the Old City's Armenian Quarter. In the Jewish Quarter we see the Byzantine Cardo and Wailing Wall. Then we walk along Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. After exploring the bazaar in the Christian and Muslim Quarters we leave Jerusalem for Bethlehem. We see the birth place of Jesus at the Church of the Nativity and the adjacent Church of St. Catherine. We stop at the Milk Grotto before driving passed Shepherd's Field and back to Haifa.

Description détaillée de la tournée

We meet at Haifa port and begin our journey to Jerusalem. We start with an overview of Jerusalem from Mount Olives, looking down at the Old City and the Temple Mount. See the Garden of Gethsemane and the monumental burial tombs while driving along the Kidron Valley. Walk past the Armenian Quarter and along the 1500 year old Byzantine Cardo to the Jewish Quarter and on the Western Wall (Kotel). Follow the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Enjoy the bazaar in the Christian and Moslem Quarters. Leave Jerusalem for neighboring Bethlehem (City of Bread) hometown of King David and birthplace of Jesus. From Manger Square walk to the Church of Nativity and descend to the grotto, the place where Jesus was laid in the manger. Also visit the Catholic church of St. Catherine, the Greek church, the Milk Grotto where Mary fed Jesus and Shepherd's Fields. Return to Haifa port.
