See the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. It is known to be the oldest monumental sculpture in the world. It stands on the west bank of the Nile River in Giza. The Sphinx is a limestone statue of a reclining creature with a lion's body and a human (male) head. It was built during the reign of ancient Egyptian kingdom of Pharoah Khafra. A detailed description of the tour

From your hotel you will be taken to the Taba border where you will cross into Egypt and be met and continue for the overnight drive to Cairo. Here you see the highlights - the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. It is known to be the oldest monumental sculpture in the world. It stands on the west bank of the Nile River in Giza. The Sphinx is a limestone statue of a reclining creature with a lion's body and a human (male) head. It was built during the reign of ancient Egyptian kingdom of Pharoah Khafra. Continue for a visit at the Papyrus Institute located next to the pyramids. Here you will see the various stages of the ancient process of papyrus making. The raw material of paper comes from a longstemmed plant that grows in damp areas of the Nile delta. You will continue for a tour of the Cairo Museum (does not include the Mummies' room), you will see the many of the treasures of Egypt's glorious past. After visiting the Khan el Khalili market you will return to Taba and cross into Eilat around 23.00.
