Fly down to Eilat for an overnight stay by the Red Sea. The next day drive through the breathtaking Sinai High Mountain Range to St. Catherine Monastery at the foot of Mount Sinai. Visit the 6th century church, the Chapel of the Burning Bush and have lunch in a local restaurant before returning to Eilat and your flight back to Tel-Aviv.

Day 1:Â Flight from Tel-Aviv to Eilat. Free day. Overnight at a hotel in Eilat.
Day 2:Â Early morning pick-up. Cross the Taba border. After crossing the Border at Taba we drive along the shores of the Red Sea and then through an ever-changing area of bizarre Sandstone-Formations to the Sinai High Mountain Range. Arriving at St. Catherine, a Greek Orthodox Monastery built by Emporer Justinian located at the foot of the Mount Sinai (Where according to the Hebrew tradition Moses received the Ten Commandments). The origins of this monastry extends to late antiquity and preserves up to date distinctive Greek and Roman heritage. The Church, that dates to the 6th century has never been destroyed and houses spiritual treasures such as early printed books. The Chapel of the Burning Bush was ordered to be built by Helena, mother of Contantine. After lunch in a Tourism Class Restaurant we drive back to Eilat, stopping at interesting sites on the way, should time permit.Â Flight back to Tel-Aviv.
